What Happens in a Remotely Focused Session?
Session Structure
- Quick welcome (2 minutes)
The hosts will welcome you to the session and explain some of the general housekeeping including some tips to help with focus. - Structured focus time (23minutes)
Everyone works quietly on their own tasks. - Short reset break (5 minutes)- Optional
Our hosts will verbally and visually announce a quick break, Stretch, grab a drink, reset your brain or just keep on working. - Second focus block (25 minutes)
our hosts will guide everyone back into calm, distraction-free work. - Wrap up (5minutes) Host will gently wrap up the session and you are welcome to share any achievements if you are comfortable to do so.
Throughout the session:
You choose if you want to interact or not, you are welcome to say hi or use chat but if you would prefer to stay quiet and off camera then please do so, show up in a way that is most comfortable for you!
Some people may choose to be on camera however our hosts will provide strategies so that it doesn't look like you have all eyes on you if they do so.
You don't need to tell anyone what you are working on, if you do want to share, chose the option that is most comfortable for you.
Our hosts are there to help structure the session and you are welcome to reach out privately if you need any additional support.
